We drove to Piedmont eBikes from Cary, NC (100 miles) for the purpose of demoing the bike and trike. Frank was kind enough to meet us and open his store on a Sunday and even suggested doing so because on a Sunday his parking lot was free of traffic and we would be able to have a more relaxed demo. Frank was well versed in every aspect of the Lectric bike and trike. He was very patient in answering our questions and in helping my wife get over her hesitancy in riding the electric trike. Frank took us through the detailed process of folding up the XP3.0 bike, and removing and inserting its battery. He also demonstrated the process for folding the eTrike and even allowed us to practice loading the e-bike and then the eTrike into our Subaru Outback. We were especially pleased to be able to learn to fold and load both into the Subaru because until we had done so we could not be positive they would both fit. Most of our eBikes range from $999 to $2,499. We carry options for a variety of budgets and match the manufacturer’s online pricing — so you get local service and expert assembly at no extra cost compared to buying online.
Qualifying standard eBikes priced at $1,499 or more include professional assembly, a safety inspection, and ride-ready setup at no additional charge. Trikes and cargo eBikes are excluded; assembly for those models is quoted separately.
Absolutely. If your preferred brand, model, size, or color is not on our showroom floor, we will custom order it for you. Most custom orders arrive and are professionally assembled within 14 days.
