About us: Piedmont eBikes is an adventure of a lifetime for my wife Johanna and me. Our journey began 40 years ago in Winston-Salem. During this time, we have moved several times, working in a variety of fun wireless and tech jobs. One thing was always certain: we would find our way back to Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Staying active and mobile, especially cycling and running, was always a part of my DNA. Having completed seven marathons from San Diego to Chicago to Charlotte and places in between, my body has endured over 3,500 miles of running. Running took a toll on my body, which resulted in both hips being replaced and knee surgery. I really wanted to continue being active without doing more damage to my body, so cycling became my do to. Dancing with Stars was out of the question. We enthusiastically believe that anyone searching for a healthy and mindful lifestyle, an electric bike, is the choice!
Over the past 5 years, I’ve ridden hundreds of eBikes and discovered the unique joy they bring—a joy I believe everyone should experience and enjoy..
